Chantilly Potatoes Pommes de Terre Chantilly is a luxurious potato dish featuring thinly sliced potatoes baked in a creamy garlic-infused sauce until golden brown and tender. The addition of chives adds a fresh touch to this indulgent side dish.
Ingredients:
- 500g potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 300ml heavy cream
- 50g unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chives, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 350F 182C
Put melted butter, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together
Half of the sliced potatoes should be put in a baking dish
On top of the potatoes, pour half of the cream mix
Do it again with the rest of the potatoes and cream mixture
Put foil over the baking dish and bake for 40 minutes
Take off the foil and bake the potatoes for another 20 minutes, or until they are soft and golden brown
Before serving, sprinkle with chopped fresh chives
